This is a twenty hour course over ten weeks. Classes are taking place every Tuesday from 18:00 until 20:00 GMT
Hola, ¿Que tal? My name is Ana and I am from Los Molinos, a lovely little village to the North-West of Madrid. I love to go to the theatre, to read, to dance and to do sports.
I have a university degree in Spanish language and literature and a master’s degree in education, both from the University Complutense of Madrid, where I also used to be the president of the faculty’s sport club.
I am also an official DELE examiner for B1, B2, C1 and C2 levels.
During my life, so far, I have lived in Madrid, Malta and for the last five years I have been living in London. Since I finished my studies teaching the Spanish language and culture has been my passion. I have experience teaching one to one classes, group courses, classes for companies, preparing A-levels, GCSE and DELE language exams in person or through various different platforms online.
What I like the most about teaching is seeing my student improve their skills meanwhile they are having a great time. My classes are dynamic, and we find time to explore every segment of the language: vocabulary, conversations, grammar and games (yes, adults have the right to play too). There is nothing better than seeing the evolution of my students from a shy “Hola” to having fluent conversations.
I invite you all to join this fantastic journey, called learning Spanish – what are you waiting for?
Our Spanish Intermediate Conversation Class is designed for adults, therefore we do request our students to be 18 years of age or above.
In order to have the best learning experience we also ask our students to have B1 level Spanish language knowledge. In case you are not sure about the level of your language knowledge please fill in our online test here.
During our conversation classes we are not using a specific course book, the material for each class is carefully selected by our teachers.
Based on the course syllabus our teachers shall recommend articles & books to be read, movies to be watched or a piece of art to be observed. This will help students to prepare for the classes and actively participate in the conversation, debate.
We require a minimum number of 6 students in our group courses and to ensure high quality teaching we allow a maximum of 12 students.
Should you wish to know more about our Terms and Conditions, please do not hesitate to read further.
