Hola, ¿Que tal? My name is Ana and I am from Los Molinos, a lovely little village to the North-West of Madrid. I love to go to the theatre, to read, to dance and to do sports.
I have a university degree in Spanish language and literature and a master’s degree in education, both from the University Complutense of Madrid, where I also used to be the president of the faculty’s sport club.
I am also an official DELE examiner for B1, B2, C1 and C2 levels.
During my life, so far, I have lived in Madrid, Malta and for the last 7 years I have been living in London. Since I finished my studies teaching the Spanish language and culture has been my passion. I have experience teaching one to one classes, group courses, classes for companies, preparing A-levels, GCSE and DELE language exams in person or through various different platforms online.
What I like the most about teaching is seeing my student improve their skills meanwhile they are having a great time. My classes are dynamic, and we find time to explore every segment of the language: vocabulary, conversations, grammar and games (yes, adults have the right to play too). There is nothing better than seeing the evolution of my students from a shy “Hola” to having fluent conversations.
I invite you all to join this fantastic journey, called learning Spanish – what are you waiting for?
